Anthony Michael Hall will star opposite Brad Pitt in writer-director David Michôd’s provocative, satirical comedy “War Machine” for Plan B Entertainment and Netflix.
Inspired by the best-selling book “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan” by the late Michael Hastings, “War Machine” follows a four star, “rock star” general (Pitt) whose lethal reputation and impeccable track record vaults him to command the American war in Afghanistan. Hall will play General Hank Pulver, loosely based on Stanley McCrystal’s second in command, General Mike Flynn.
Production will kick off later this month.
