Toby Stephens (“Black Sails”) will have the lead role of John Robinson in Netflix’s “Lost in Space” reboot, says Deadline.
In the 10-episode series, Stephens plays the lead of a family that finds themselves off the beaten track in their space ship where they face alien environments and their own personal demons. Guy Williams played the role in the 1965 original while William Hurt played the part in the 1998 film.
Stephens jons Maxwell Jenkins (“Sense8”) who plays Will Robinson, and Taylor Russell as t Judy.
“Lost in Space” is set to premiere on Netflix in 2018.
