While on the promo trail for the 2010 hit, “Toy Story 3” director Lee Unkrich promised we’ll be seeing more of Andy’s beloved playthings in the near future – it just wouldn’t be in the form of a fourth “Toy Story” movie. Nope, seems Disney were piecing together a short film featuring the characters that would play before next year’s “Cars 2”. Good enough, eh?
Disney/Pixar animator Floyd Norman tweets that he’s just seen a short film titled “Hawaii” and in it “Ken and Barbie want to go to Hawaii”.
Norman says he doesn’t “know what it’s gonna be attached to. Fun stuff, however.”
Is this the short film Unkrich was pertaining to? I’d say so. Sounds good! Any excuse to hear the vocal stylings of Michael Keaton, hey!?
