Flashpoint Entertainment has loosened their grip on “Water for Elephants”, the next film for “Twilight” fave Robert Pattinson, by releasing the first official trailer.
I’ve read the script, and it’s very, very good – this could very well be the film that sees all of Mr Pattinson’s cynics swallowing their tongues from here on because there’s a great character here and looks like he really brings it (if the trailer is anything to go by).
Rom-Com Queen Reese Witherspoon (“Walk the Line”), Christoph Waltz (“The Green Hornet”), veteran actor Hal Holbrook (“Into the Wild”) and also James Frain from “TRON Legacy” star.
Here’s the Official Synopsis : Veterinary school student Jacob (Pattinson) meets and falls in love with Marlena (Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds – including the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August (Christopher Waltz) – Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.
