Lionsgate has released a new trailer for Hugh Grant starer “The Rewrite”.
Grant plays Keith Michaels, an Oscar-winning screenwriter who, years after his golden years, is now broke and desperate for work.
The film sees Michaels take a teaching job at a small college where he meets Holly Carpenter (Marisa Tomei), a middle aged student at the school.
Anyone else getting a “Music and Lyrics” vibe here..? Well, the director is Marc Lawrence, the man behind not only “Music and Lyrics” but other Hugh Grant pics including “Two Weeks Notice” and “Did You Hear About the Morgans?”
J.K. Simmons and Allison Janney also appear in the film which is produced by Castle Rock Entertainment and Reserve Room.
“The Rewrite” is slated for an October 8 release.
