The tardy sequel to the original “Vacation” film series is only a hop, skip and a jump away – and if the new trailer is anything to go by, it’s cineamtic Hopscotch I’m volunteering to compete in!
The rowdy, raunchy comedy stars Ed Helms as the grown-up Rusty Griswold, son of original “Vacation” dad Clark (Chevy Chase). Christina Applegate plays Rusty’s missus, with Chase and Beverly D’Angelo reprising their roles as the [now] elderly Griswolds. Leslie Mann, Charlie Day, and Chris Hemsworth co-star.
The trailer features some fun throwbacks to the original – aside from Wally World – including a macabre take on the Christie Brinkley/Ferrari cameo from the original movie.
