Turtle won’t have to carry 7500 on his own back

Rapidly-thinning “Entourage” actor Jerry Ferrara (‘Turtle’) has joined the cast of the Takashi Shimizu-directed airline thriller “7500”.

Bloody Disgusting says the actor will play a character named ‘Rick’ in the CBS films nail-biter, co-starring alongside Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Christian Serratos, and Scout Taylor-Compton.

The film, rewritten by “Lost” alum Craig Rosenberg, concerns a group of passengers who encounter what appears to be a supernatural force while on a transpacific flight.

Kwanten and Smart will co-star as married couple Brad and Pia Martin, who board Vista Pacific Flight 7500 with their two longtime friends for a trip to Japan.
