Caffeinated Clint
Quickly aging Superboy (hey, that’s not supposed to happen is it?!) Tom Welling is set to star in the next film to tout the marketing line “from Nicholas Sparks, best-selling author of The Notebook”.
According to Deadline, the “Smallville” star will star in “The Choice”, Ross Katz’s adaptation of the Sparks’ novel “The Choice” about a love triangle in a small North Carolina (of course) town.
Welling joins Benjamin Walker (“Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter”) and Aussie Teresa Palmer in the film.
Walker plays Travis Parker and Teresa Palmer plays Gabby Holland. Neighbors in a small coastal town, they end up pursuing a relationship neither expected. Welling plays a doctor at his father’s practice who is Gabby’s boyfriend. The triangle plays out over the course of a decade in North Carolina.
Suggesting the film won’t be so bad, we’ve Tom Wilkinson co-starring in it too.
