The USA Network has cancelled “Covert Affairs” after five seasons.
The recent fifth season ended with a cliffhanger, suggesting producers assumed a sixth season renewal was imminent.
Apparently the axe swung on the series due to it’s escalating costs – namely the price tags of it’s cast but also the steep cost of shooting on location, around the world.
Piper Perabo might suddenly be up for that “Coyote Ugly” sequel now, Disney?
