Vacation helmers to pen Spider-Man

“Vacation” directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein look to have found a new project to turn their attention to.

According to THR, the duo are in early talks to pen Sony’s new “Spider-Man” film.

Apparently Daley and Goldstein were being considered to helm the pic, but the job eventually went to Jon Watts.

Tom Holland was recently cast as the titular web-slinger and Marisa Tomei is in talks to play Aunt May. These two characters will appear first in Marvel’s upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” before starring in their own film.
