Saw the film today that’s likely to pack out theaters this Valentine’s Day, “He’s Just Not That Into You”. And you know what? It wasn’t half bad! So much smarter than the usual fluffy crap they put in theaters this time of year – they usually star Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson… or a combination of – and I think blokes will get a chuckle out of it too. Anyway, here’s today’s Who’s doing What with Whom and When….

– Robert Downey Jr tells MTV that Mickey Rourke hasn’t officially signed onto “Iron Man 2” and further more, he won’t be, contrary to rumours, playing Crimson Dynamo if he does.

– Jeff Bridges has flown to Canada where Disney will digitize him so that they can create a younger digital clone of him for “Tron 2”, according to io9.

– There’s new pictures of “Terminator Salvation” here, here and here . And if you haven’t yet seen this, you’ll want to.

– A new still from Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes”, featuring Robert Downey Jr in full get-up, can be seen here

– New Line Cinema has set Garry Marshall (“The Princess Diaries”) to direct “Valentine’s Day,” a comedy about 10 people in Los Angeles whose lives intersect on the romantic holiday. Originally penned by Katherine Fugate, the script has been rewritten by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein. A Valentine’s Day 2010 release is expected.

– Second-unit photography for “Spider-Man 4” looks set to take place in Michigan, according to The Oakland Express.

– Summit Entertainment looks set to merge with Lionsgate, according to Sharon Waxman.

– The CW is bringing back “Reaper” early. The second season of the supernatural drama will return March 3, a couple of weeks sooner than originally announced.

– Columbia Pictures and producer Scott Rudin have acquired rights to make a film based on the life of Henry Molaison, whose brain became the most studied gray matter in medical history.

– Nickelodeon’s TV movie/musical “Spectacular!” doesn’t premiere until Presidents Day, but the cable channel is quietly laying the groundwork for a possible sequel.

– Charles Roven, the producer behind “The Dark Knight”, and frequent collaborator Richard Suckle are developing “Damascus Gate,” a political thriller involving a journalist and a group of extremists in modern-day Jerusalem. The project has been set up at Columbia.

– E! is set to launch a spinoff to its Playboy-themed “Girls Next Door” featuring Kendra Wilkinson. “Kendra” will focus on Wilkinson’s life after leaving the Playboy Mansion and getting engaged to Philadelphia Eagles receiver Hank Baskett.

– “Personally, I never consider sequels,” WALL-E writer/director Andrew Stanton told MTV News when asked about the chances of a sequel to his smash “Wall-E”.

– The Jim Henson Company is now partnering with Australian production company Omnilab Media to produce their “Dark Crystal” sequel, says Muppet News Flash. The movie is expected to hit cinemas in 2011.

– “New Moon” is headed for Italy. Says Variety, “[It] will shoot in the ancient Tuscan city of Volterra in May for two weeks”. Meantime, “Twilight” has been announced for an April 22 DVD release downunder.

– “Friday the 13th” scribes Damian Shannon and with Mark Swift tell STYD they don’t want to be involved in any future film version of “Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash”. “I don’t think we would be interested in writing that movie,” says Swift. “It would, by the very nature of its beast, be campy. I love Ash, I love Evil Dead, but once you put three in there, I wouldn’t have been interested in writing it.”

– Set Pictures of Tori Spelling shooting her return to “90210” are up here. Spelling shares scenes with Jennie Garth, who plays Kelly Taylor and Jessica Stroup, who plays Erin Silver, in her episode.
