Before they can begin the journey, the couple is lured away from the hunter by a diamond ‘pirate’. The pirate shows the couple an unbelievably beautiful diamond and promises to find them one of equal value. The hunter warns them that this criminal will certainly kill them, but the husband refuses to listen. Together, the couple journey into the heart of darkness and discover something in themselves they can no escape…
