Wreck-It Ralph 2 is coming!

Though most assumed it was a sure thing, after the success of the original, the years of silence on “Wreck-it Ralph 2” news suggests it was never a definite, er.. definite.

But while Disney ummm and aaaah over a “Frozen” sequel (give them a few years to scratch their heads and rub their foreheads), the powers-that-be have been given the go-ahead to do the “Ralph” follow-up.

Composer Henry Jackman told Collider that the sequel is definitely a go.

“I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards.

“I don’t know any more other than a story is indeed being written. I’d be very surprised not to. I’m not blowing my own trumpet. Forget about the music.

“Just the movie itself I thought was a fantastically imaginative and creative piece of work.”

John C.Relly and Sarah Silverman would assumingly be back to reprise their roles from the first film.

Director Rich Moore told Moviehole, shortly after the first film’s release, that he’d like ‘Mario’ – the video-game plumber, not the guy from the fish n’ chip shop – to appear in this next one.

“We’ll really come up with something good for Mario to do [in the next film]“, says Moore. “To be able to present him in the sequel, would be great.”
