Caffeinated Clint
A couple of months back a few names were flittered in relation to playing younger incarnations of the Cyclops and Jean Grey characters in the upcoming “X-Men : Apocalypse”. Latino Review has an update from Bryan Singer’s casting couch, and seems a bunch of different names are now in the running for the roles.
Up for Cyclops are Taron Edgerton (“Kingsman : The Secret Service), Jamie Blackley (“If I Stay”), and Tye Sheridan (“Mud”).
Now that Chloe Moretz has passed on playing Jean Grey, the producers are said to be looking at Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) and Saorise Ronan (“The Lovely Bones”) for the part.
Thirdly, a young ‘Storm’ (complete with Mohawk! the movie is set in the ’80s, ya see?) is said to also be included in the yarn, with Alexandra Shipp and Zendaya Coleman testing.
Oscar Isaac is already set to play the villain in the film, due May of 2016.
