Ben Walker has beaten Adrien Brody, James D’Arcy, Josh Lucas and Oliver Jackson-Cohen to the lead role of a vampire slaying Abraham Lincoln in the film adaptation of the Seth Graham-Smith novel “Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter”, according to Variety.
Timur Bekmambetov is directing and Tim Burton is producing the 3D Pic.
The book, the rights of which were paid for by Bekmambetov and Burton themselves, reimagines Abe Lincoln as an axe-throwing Vampire Slayer that’s determined to rid of the creature responsible for his mother’s death.
