Sylvester Stallone’s next two sequels, “The Expendables 4” and “Rambo 5” are officially a go with Chinese exhibitor Dadi pre-buying mainland China distribution rights to the films from Avi Lerner’s Millenium Media. The recently-announced “Rambo” sequel will release September 2018 and “The Expendables 4” in early 2019. (Deadline)

007 actor and “Paddington” voice artist Ben Wishaw tells The Independent that he expects to be part of both the next James Bond film and a third “Paddington” movie – should the latter come to fruition. “I believe I’m contracted to be in it”, Whishaw says of the upcoming Bond film. “That’s as much as I know.” The actor said he’s thrilled Danny Boyle is directing the movie. “I was thrilled when I read that he was going to be doing it. I can’t think of a better, more exciting director for Daniel for the way that he’s taken the character. I think it’ll be really exciting to work with him. I’ve been such a big fan.”
As for a third “Paddington” movie? “It’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into those films, so I’m not sure if it will happen. Or, if it does, I’m not sure when it will happen.”

In addition to Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture, from the first film, will have a role to play in the upcoming “Spider-Man : Homecoming” sequel. Casting agents on the film are reportedly currently looking for a female in her twenties for a lead role in the Jon Watts directed film. (Variety)

Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, Jason Mantzoukas, Mark Dacascos, Tiger Hu Chen, “The Raid” duo Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman, and Asia Kate Dillon have joined the cast of “John Wick 3”, joining returning star Keanu Reeves. Additionally, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are returning to reprise their roles. Berry plays the female villain Sofia, Huston will play a figure known as as The Director, while Dillon is The Adjudicator of the High Table. Dacascos is an assassin named Zero, and Mantzoukas as the Tick Tock Man. (THR)
