According to World of Reel, Sam Raimi – director of the original trio of “Spider-Man” movies – is the frontrunner to helm the next film in the current crop of Spider-Man movies.
The site, suggesting John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein as well as Jon Favreau, are also in contention, says the new film would be the fourth in the Tom Holland-incarnation of films based on the Marvel comics character.
Raimi previously refuted reports that he’s going to helm a fourth film in his original “Spider-Man” series, with Tobey Maguire returning in the title role.
