CBS held their upfronts today, and besides a quick-quipping Robin Williams (who reportedly came out on stage discussing everything from cocaine to strippers and circumcisions! Now that’s how you sell a show! booyah!), the network also came armed with some clips from the programs on offer this year.
The highlight was Williams’ “The Crazy Ones”, which teams the veteran comic with “Buffy” herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar. The duo play a father-and-daughter duo that work in advertising.
Another one that looks OK is the Will Arnett comedy “The Millers”.
There’s also the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced “Hostages”.
