John C.Reilly confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy

As previously rumoured, John C.Reilly has committed to a flashy role in Marvel’s superhero epic “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Deadline, who broke the news, say the “Wreck-it Ralph” and “Step Brothers” star will play leader of the Nova Corps – they’re kinda like the futuristic space-version of the police force – Rhomman Dey.
Like many who sign for these Marvel films, including another recent “Galaxy” additions Benicio del Toro and Glenn Close, Reilly’s signed a multii-picture deal that could feasibly see him reprise the Dey role in not only sequels to “Galaxy” but in other Marvel Universe movies.

The James Gunn-directed “Guardians of the Galaxy” is due to hit cinemas Aug 1, 2014.
