Lewis Skolnick geared for a Lampoon

The unremitting crap-machine at National Lampoon keeps crankin’.

That new stench is coming from "National Lampoon Clubhouse Trick of Treat", featuring a stellar all-star cast headed by Robert ‘Revenge of the Nerds’ Carradine and Vanessa ‘did she ever top Kingpin?’ Angel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film tells of a 15-year-old boy who is grounded on Halloween and stays home to baby-sit his brother and sister. They soon find that their old house is haunted, complete with a secret passage that leads them on a wild "Scooby Doo"- and "Beetlejuice"-type adventure.

Joining in on the fun are youngsters Taylor Dooley ("The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D"), Jake Thomas ("Lizzie McGuire"), Nikki Griffin (Fox’s "The O.C.") and Matthew Lawrence ("The Hot Chick").

Now come on, how about returning to some of the ol’ Lampoon gems? We’d even settle for another "Vacation" sequel (if Chevy did it) or a spin-off of "Animal House" starring Tom Hulce.
