The first clip from the hotly anticipated “Interstellar” has debuted.
The film, from director Christopher Nolan, follows a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage. Why do they do this? To attempt to save the human race from a dusty, fiery death of course!
While this clip doesn’t give us a look at the outer-space adventures (perhaps Nolan wanted to save those epic landscapes for the big screen), it does give us a taste of Matthew McConaughey’s character Cooper.
McConaughey stars with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace and David Gyasi.
“Interstellar” will hit cinemas – including IMAX screens – on November 5.
