Former “Lost” star Maggie Grace will front CBS’s “Code Black”, a medical drama written by Michael Seitzman and directed by David Semel.
Per Deadline, the series is based on Ryan McGarry’s feature documentary of the same name, and is set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation.
The main characters are four residents and the medical staff who “mentor, teach, and terrify” them.
Grace, also known for the “Taken” film series, plays the residency director in the E.R. She’s described as “a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with.”
Marcia Gay Harden and Melanie Kannakoda are already onbard.
