Michael Cera, Tavi Gevinson and Abbi Jacobson will star in ensemble drama “Human People” from director Dustin Guy Defa.
The film follows a variety of New Yorkers as they navigate personal relationships and unexpected problems over the course of one day.
Isiah Whitlock, Michaela Watkins, Ben Rosenfield, Buddy Durress, George Sample III, Bene Coopersmith and Philip Baker Hall are also in the cast with production currently underway in New York City.
Producers include Sara Murphy, Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston with co-producers by Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read. Joe Swanberg, Eddie Linker and Peter Gilbert of Forager Films and Matthew Perniciaro and Michael Sherman of Bow and Arrow Entertainment are exec producing in association with Sailor Bear and Park Pictures.
