Joe Carnahan (“The A-Team”, “Narc”) will write and possibly direct the third installment in Sony’s money-spinning “Bad Boys” series.
According to The Wrap, the Sacaramento-based filmmaker has been brought in to rewrite David Guggenheim’s script and is under contention to also play director on it.
Michael Bay, who directed the first two installments in the action-comedy series, would likely produce.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are expected to reprise the roles they originated back in 1995.
