A sequel to last year’s horror hit “Annabelle” is in the works at New Line with scribe Gary Dauberman returning to pen the script.
According to The Tracking Board, “Annabelle” director John Leonetti may not be returning to helm with the studio on the lookout for a new new director.
“Annabelle” was a spinoff/prequel to James Wan’s 2013 horror flick “The Conjuring” about the film’s creepy mascot – a possessed doll named Annabelle.
“The Conjuring” also has a sequel in the works.
