Bad Moms sequel shoots for Green Arrow

Former “Smallville” star Justin Hartley has come aboard the hurried sequel to 2015 comedy hit “Bad Moms”.

The actor, currently on ratings juggernaught “This is Us”, joins original trio Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn in the comedy, which is slated to hit November 3.

In “A Bad Moms Christmas”, the under-appreciated and over-burdened trio coping with the stresses of the most wonderful time of year as their own mothers visit for the holidays. Hartley will play Ty Swindle, a fit and handsome firefighter by day, who doubles as an erotic dancer by night. A very sincere gentleman, Swindle immediately jives with Carla (Hahn) during a waxing appointment.

M. Jon Lucas and Scott Moore are back to write and direct the sequel, with Suzanne Todd producing and Bill Block serving as executive producer.

Hartley got his break playing the Green Arrow on the CW’s “Smallville”.
