“Supernatural” is bringing on board Jenson Ackles’ wife Danneel in a recurring role, according to the Variety exclusive. The actress will appear in the later half of the 13th season as a character named Sister Jo.
Her character will be a well-known faith healer whose good works attract the attention of someone very, very bad: Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino). The question she will have to face is whether Lucifer will kill her — or if he has bigger plans for her.
Ackles nee Harris will appear alongside co-lead Jenson Ackles, who is her husband in real life. Damn good looking couple, if I may say so. She is known for her role as Rachel on long-term drama “One Tree Hill” and the “Harold and Kumar” film series.
