Danson’s post-Damages Contract

Is a “Human” One

I was just saying earlier how “Damages” is likely to revitalise Ted Danson’s career and not just that, but open doors for him that were otherwise closed. And what do ya know? Variety has just announced details of one of those post-“Damages” Danson Gigs – and not surprisingly, it ain’t a comedy.

Danson has agreed to play a role in Jada Pinkett Smith’s directorial debut “The Human Contract”. Danson’s “Made in America” co-star – and Jada’s hubby – Will Smith will executive produce the pic.

The film will star Jason Clarke (TVs “Brotherhod”) as a highly successful but personally tortured businessman who has his life turned upside down after meeting a free-spirited, mysterious beauty (Paz Vega), who tempts him to explore reckless love.

No word on who Danson’s playing, but chances are his brow will be down for his whole performance.

Damages is renewed!
