David Denman shoots for 13 Hours

David Denman (“True Detective”) has joined the cast of Michael Bay’s Benghazi movie “13 Hours”, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Set up with Paramount, the movie fixes on the 2012 attack on an American compound in Libya that left U.S. ambassador J. Christopher Stevens dead. The story centers on the special forces team that attempted to rescue Stevens.

John Krasinski, James Badge Dale, Max Martini and Pablo Schreiber are already cast.

Denman plays Boon, an elite sniper.

The project reunites Denman and Krasinski, both alumni of TV’s “The Office”.

“13 Hours” is shooting in April in Malta and Morocco.
