Dennis Quaid to play George W. Bush

FX’s limited series “Katrina: American Crime Story” has found its George W. Bush in the form of Dennis Quaid. The series is set around the Hurricane Katrina disaster, in which Bush was heavily critisized for his handling and response to the tragedy.

Quaid joins Matthew Broderick on the cast, who plays head of Federal Management Agency (FEMA) Michael D. Brown, who was in charge of the government’s response to the disaster). Annette Bening also stars as Kathleen Blanco, the Governer of Louisiana. Executive Producer Ryan Murphy has also hinted that Sarah Paulson will also have a role in the series.

Quaid is no stranger to the presidential role, having previously played 42nd president Bill Clinton in the HBO film “The Special Relationship”. In which he looked super creepy, for the record…

“Katrina: American Crime Story” is expected to hit our screens in 2018.

Thanks to EW for the story.
