Satanic Ritual Abuse in the 70s and 80s
Independent filmmaker Marc Selz is in production on a new horror film about satanic ritual abuse in the pre Reagan-era called “Satanic Panic”.
Though it’ll feature a cast of newcomers, Selz – who was originally set to lens the film last year – still hopes it’ll get a brief theatrical release.
“This may hurt us on the release end, since I know distributors are always looking for name actors, and it’s easier for them to market a film with known actors.” Selz tells Fangoria. “I believe the concept, along with the heavy gore, nudity and solid acting, will sell the film.”
