Clint Eastwood may direct Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio in Fox’s untitled Richard Jewel biopic.
According to Deadline, the “American Sniper” helmer is circling a film that has Hill playing the security worker who found a mysterious backpack at the Olympics compound in Atlanta 1996, and DiCaprio as a Southern real estate owner who helped Jewel get out of the situation he found himself in after finding the bag.
Billy Ray (“Shattered Glass”) wrote the project, which DiCaprio is one of the producers on.
