Ernie Hudson not convinced there’ll be a Ghostbusters 3?

I hate to be the thunderstorm on a fan parade, but is anyone actually convinced “Ghostbusters 3” is going to happen? I mean, how many years have we been hearing the same old “it’s shooting” then and there or “Bill has agreed!” lines? Yeah, OK, so that recent casting call was an indication that things might be progressing… but still, don’t think I’ll believe it until the first teaser hits Apple.

Sounds like Ernie Hudson, who’d be reprising his role as Winston in “Ghostbusters 3”, is as equally unconvinced. In a new interview with Movie Mikes, the actor seems convinced that Bill Murray won’t let the movie happen.

“[Murray’s] definition of good is a little bit different than everybody elses”, says Hudson, adding “So we will see, I would love to see it happen. I know the fans have been asking for it…so hopefully.”

Hudson says, ”Bills a great guy, he’s kind of quirky but I love him. He’s a guy who is very much into what he’s feeling. I know he really cares about his work, which is probably why there hasn’t been another “Ghostbusters” as of yet.”

Lots of “if’s” in Hudson’s responses. Still, he holds out hope – so do we.
