Hit buddy comedy “Wedding Crashers” is remembered for a few things – the great chemistry between Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, the terrific Will Ferrell cameo, and Isla Fisher in her birthday suit.
As easy it was to believe that the naked bod on screen belonged to Fisher (because, let’s admit it, she’s a gorgeous specimen), that was actually a body double filling in for the Aussie actress in those racy scenes she shared with Vaughn. Thankfully, Fisher is such a talent – especially when it comes to comedy – that Hollywood saw beyond the faux nude stuff and spotted themselves one heck of a funny performance. Watch the film again, she’s as wicked as her laugh in the film – a real delight.
Well, cue the laugh (and body double) again -a sequel to “Wedding Crashers” might finally be on the cards.
Fisher, out promoting her new flick “Nocturnal Animals”, tells Today that she’s hearing the original gang are getting back together for another, er, reception.
“There’s some talk of it… I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel. So I’m really excited to see what’s happened to Gloria.”
The first film made an absolute mint so no surprise there’s scuttlebutt of a follow-up.
