James Franco is attached to direct a film about stripper Aziah “Zola” Wells’ wild road trip to Florida.
Franco is developing the project with Andrew Neel and Killer Films, based on David Kushner’s Rolling Stone story “Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted”.
The story of the roadtrip was initially told by Wells’ via 148 tweets.
Neel and Mike Roberts are writing the script.
