Wentworth Miller no longer a regular on Legends of Tomorrow

A position switch likely associated with his impending commitment to Fox’s “Prison Break” revival (not to mention a burgeoning career as a screenwriter), Wentworth Miller won’t be a regular on The CW’s “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” as it heads towards it’s second season. (Those who caught tonight’s episode of the comic book series would already be aware of this).

Miller’s character,Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, won’t be leaving that world behind though. The character, who made his first appearance as Snart on “The Flash”, will occasionally pop up in both “The Flash” and “Legends”, according to Deadline.

The actor’s contract is “the first contract not applicable to just one show,” ”Legends of Tomorrow”, ”Flash” and ”Arrow” co-creator/executive producer Greg Berlanti said. “In success we hope to continue with other characters finding their way across all the shows.”

Apparently ‘Captain Cold’ was never going to be a permanent member of the “Legends” team.

“We always knew that he wouldn’t be a permanent member of The Waverider,” Berlanti said. “We also knew we loved him on the show and all the shows, Flash as well.”
