“Twilight” co-star Ashley Greene has landed the female lead in a new flick based on defunct comic “Toxic!”.
Titled “Accident Man”, and directed by Jesse Johnson, “Accident Man” is said to have a “Deadpool-esque tone” – which, we agree, works much better than the “Green Lantern-esque tone” originally called for.
According to Deadline, “the story centers on the life of Mike Fallon, a high-class hitman, known for making assassinations look like unfortunate accidents. Fallon’s cavalier attitude changes the day his ex-girlfriend, Beth is murdered. He teams up with Beth’s new girlfriend Charlie (Greene) on a murderous rampage to find out who killed her.”
The film will take Greene, whose other flicks include “Apparition” and “Wish I was Here”, to the UK.
