Margot Robbie is in early talks to star in “Ghost in the Shell”, the feature adaptation of the Japanese comic book, says Deadline.
Aussie actress Robbie, who stars in the upcoming “Focus”, would work under the charge of “Snow White and the Huntsman” helmer Rupert Sanders.
The story follows a member of a covert ops unit of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission that specializes in fighting technology-related crime.
Robbie last appeared in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street”.
