Mark Wahlberg goes hacking with Universal

Mark Wahlberg wants to get inside your computer and f*ck up your PST file.

The actor cum producer has been assigned the task of shepherding a new film on hackers, reports THR.

The Wahlberg/Stephen Levinson project is based on a recent GQ article titled “The Hacker Is Watching” which centers on an anonymous, ruthless, highly skilled hacker who targets the student body of a large suburban high school.

Business buds Wahlberg and Levinson produced the smuggling redo “Contraband” for Uni earlier this year. That one, however, was somewhat blocked from making a mound of dough by the competitive firewall at the time.
