Noam Murro is in the mix to direct Warner’s “Aquaman” movie, according to Latino Review.
The “300 : Rise of an Empire” director is said to be one of several filmmakers in the running, including Jeff Nichols (“Mud”).
The site also says that Karl Urban (“Star Trek”) is being sought for a villainous supporting role in the superhero blockbuster.
Jason Momoa will make his debut as Aquaman in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” ahead of “Aquaman” in 2018.
