Isla has “Groupies”, Sophie has Christopher Walken
Isla Fisher (“Wedding Crashers”, “Hot Rod”) has apparently made a new friend in comedienne Amy Poehler (Mrs Will Arnett and his co-star in “Blades of Glory”); the duo are now penning a movie together, according to Hit.
Called “Groupies”, Fisher says the film will see the two play “overconfident dum-dums” who are obsessed with a band that doesn’t know they exist.
Fisher, who’s also producing “Cookie Queen”, in which she plays a woman competing in a cookie-selling competition, says “Writing Groupies and developing these projects for myself, I definitely feel I’m fulfilling that creative need in me”.
And speaking of Aussie beauties going great guns in the U.S, Confidental reports that the popsinger cum actress Sophie Monk will reunite with her “Click” co-star Christopher Walken for “Zeroes”, an 80s spoof in which she plays a “crazy party girl”.
