The Weinstein Company is bringing Stephen King’s novella “The Mist” to TV.
Christian Torpe (“Rita”) is writing the new film, which will reportedly feature a different take on the story in King’s story and the 2007 film.
Meanwhile, a new take on ’80s TV hit “Hart to Hart” is in the works at NBC.
The new version, however, has a twist – the main couple (played by Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers in the orginal) will be gay.
The series will be produced by Carol Mendelsohn and Sony TV, with Christopher Fife (“Revenge”) on writing duties.
