Office fave to headline Michael Bay’s next?

John Krasinski (“The Office”, “License to Wed”) is in talks to star in Michael Bay’s Benghazi movie “13 Hours”, says Variety.

The Paramount prod, based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s book, fixes on the attack on the U.S Special Mission Compound in Libya in 2012. The main characters are a six-man security team assigned to defend it, with Krasinski playing a security operator named ‘Jack Silva’ (pseudonym).

A number of big-name actors have been reading for roles in the film including Woody Harrelson, J.K. Simmons, Walton Goggins, and Shea Whigham.

The film would go before the cameras later this year.
