Via their Twitter, Netflix have officially announced a second season of surprise smash “Stranger Things”.
Yup, that’s two loads of coolness in tellyland 2017 – with the return of “Twin Peaks” and now a second batch of the Duffer Brothers’ gem.
In a chat with EW, the brothers confirmed that the same bunch of characters return for seconds – but they refuse to say whether ‘Eleven’ will be back.
“I don’t think we ever thought anthology,” says Ross Duffer. “I think we talked like a larger time jump where the kids are older now and it’s a different decade. That’s something we batted around from the very beginning. But for us, there’s still more story here, there’s still things that are unresolved.”
In other words, Winona Ryder will be sticking with TV for the time being.
As for our magical pal, Eleven? “We don’t know about Eleven,” says Ross Duffer. “We leave that up in the air.”
