Scream and Scream VI actress Melissa Barrera is in talks to reunite with Radio Silence for a top secret monster movie the filmmakers are hatching at Universal.

Per Deadline, “this untitled monster thriller provides a unique take on legendary monster lore and will represent a fresh, new direction for how to celebrate these classic characters.”

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, who will helm the hush-hush project at and produce alongside Scream producer Chad Villella serving as producer alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt at Project X Entertainment, are also spearheading a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s Escape From New York.
