An eclectic team of screenwriters are coming together to pen the script for “Sherlock Holmes 3”.
According to Variety, “Guardians of the Galaxy” scribe Nicole Perlman, “Baywatch” scribe Justin Malen, “Rogue One” writer Gary Whitta, “Tomb Raider” scribe Geneva Dworet-Robertson and “Snowden” screenwriter Kieran Fitzgerald are set to form a writer’s room to shape the script and story for the threequel.
Robert Downey Jr. is attached to star with Jude Law also expected to return. Guy Ritchie directed the first two films and is expected to return to helm.
Susan Downey, Dan Lin, Joel Silver and Lionel Wigram are producing.
