Huh?!? Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand??
THR reports that Paramount seems to think it’ll work and greenlit the mother/son road trip comedy, “My Mother’s Curse”, with the two set to star.
The script is based on screenwriter Dan Fogelman’s personal experience on traveling with his Mother and shooting is set to commence come the spring, along with Director Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 27 Dresses) and Producers Lorne Michael, Evan Goldberg & John Goldwyn.
Will the stoner comedy star, Seth Rogen and singer/entertainer extraordinaire Barbara Streisand have the chemistry to pull it off?
Guess we’ll have to wait and see what the odd couple has to offer …
In the meantime, here’s the premise:
Inventor heads out across country to sell his product and invites his Mom along for the ride, while attempting to reunite her with a long lost love.
