Owen Wilson has traded the laughs for some good old fashioned gun fire in “No Escape”.
The first trailer for the action film has been released by the Weinstein Company and depicts Wilson as an American businessman who moves his family to Southeast Asia just as a violent political uprising erupts.
Lake Bell co-stars as his wife and Pierce Brosnan plays a government agent who tries to help the family run for their lives.
“We’re gonna get through this,” Wilson’s character tells his family, despite the title of the film which would suggest otherwise.
Director John Erick Dowdle co-wrote the film with his brother Drew Dowdle.
“No Escape” will open in cinemas on September 2.
