An “Under Siege 2 : Dark Territory” remake is in the works – only you’ll never hear it referred to as such.
Variety tells us the FOX train thriller “Unstoppable” tells of an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They’re chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.
Martin Campbell, of “Casino Royale” and “Goldeneye” fame, has been a shitload to direct. Apparently Mimi Rogers (yep, that Mimi Rogers) is one of the producers.
“Unstoppable” – and yes, that was the name of a recent Wesley Snipes movie; not that anyone will remember – was penned by “Live Free or Die Hard” scribe Mark Bomback.
