TV : Deadpool nixed from Fox line-up

Fox has opted not to push on with an animated “Deadpool” series that Donald Glover and Stephen Glover were developing for their FX network.

In a statement acquired by Deadline, FX announced that “Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s Deadpool animated series. FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on ‘Legion,’ which will continue.”

While one might suggest the project could find a new home at Disney, until that deal is officially done Fox still have the final say on the “Deadpool” property. Still, watch this space, I suspect the project isn’t completely dead.

FX had given the series a 10-episode straight-to-series order last year.

Why didn’t the Aquaman trailer drop this weekend?
